Before you write about Ironbox

A few answers that come up often:

I forgot my PIN

Use your 6-word recovery phrase on the lock screen. If you no longer have the phrase, we genuinely cannot help — there is no master key and no reset. This is by design, and it is the reason the vault is private in the first place.

I uninstalled the app — are my photos gone?

No. That is the whole point of Ironbox. Reinstall it, choose the same vault folder during setup, and enter your PIN. Your items will be there.

How many items can I store?

If you installed Ironbox during the launch period, your vault holds 200 items permanently — that is a founding-installer promise and we will not reduce it later. Later installs hold 30. There is nothing to buy in this version either way.

A cap limits only how many new items you can add. Everything already in your vault stays fully accessible, and export is never capped.

How do I get my photos out?

Settings → Export all, or select items and export them. This is free at every tier and always will be.

If you believe you have found a vulnerability, please write to lljaistudios@gmail.com with the subject line SECURITY and give us a reasonable chance to fix it before disclosing publicly. We will credit you unless you would rather we didn't.
